Play’n GO releases first new slot of 2020; Legacy of Dead
While 2019 will be tough to top, Swedish slots specialist Play’n GO is already off to a good start with the early release of Legacy of Dead, its first game of the new year.
On the heels of its final launch of 2019, the slots specialist is determined not to rest on its laurels and has begun to put together an ambitious release schedule for what figures to be its busiest year to date for premiering new games.
2020 release schedule:
The high-variance video slot with 10 paylines, 5 reels, and 3 rows takes players to the land of Ancient Egypt and is the first of 52 planned releases, approximately four per month, the Växjö-headquartered developer has scheduled to unveil this year.
Complete with expanding wilds, complimentary rounds, double game, scatters and regular wilds, along with a potential top cash prize of 5,000x the stake, the game that centers around the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamen’s tomb is sure to have mass appeal.
Above and beyond:
According to the official press release, Chief Executive Officer for Play’n GO, Johan Törnqvist, said…
“2019 was a record-breaking year for us, and we plan to reach even higher for 2020.
Legacy of Dead is the very first in a series of quality gaming releases that will further cement our status as one of the foremost suppliers in the industry, and we will bring slot entertainment to a whole new level this year.”
Ending on a high note:
Play’n GO wrapped 2019 on a high note, kicking off the month of December with the Egyptian themed title, Ankh of Anubis, which focuses on the god of death, Anubis. The talented supplier followed with Divine Showdown, a unique addition to its games portfolio that combines powerful figures from four different mythologies.
The studio put a bow on the year with the release of, Wild Frames, a 7-reel, 7-row, cluster pays grid slot based on the “classic casino chic of Vegas.”
